Due to astronomical growth in the past few months, we are again experiencing maximum capacity on our primary article engine server. Due to this factor, hardware upgrades will be taking place over the next few days so please do bear with us during this process.
You will most likely receive no articles in the next few days while the current article delivery engine server is replaced with the brand new, state of the art server.
The readbud service will continue to function properly once the upgrades are complete.
Furthermore, we have been receiving complaints that issues were arising when rating articles. Certain articles were not crediting correct rewards to balance. We have investigated and traced the problem back to the server overloading issue, hence why this server upgrade is crucial to ensure readbud is working perfeclty at all times.
We will not be accepting new registrations for the time being due to upgrades. Please try again in a few days.
The upgrades should be completed within 3 days so do come back soon!

We are currently hard at work developing the latest extensions and upgrades to readbud in order to ensure maximum enjoyment from the use of our unique service.
The late June extension has been postponed until further notice primarily because we ran into various obstacles, including the recent infrastructure relocation to United States.
We are still aiming at offering various rewards and prizes besides the monetary rewards we offer currently, however this will not happen until a later date - possibly once the upgrades are complete.

Due to explosive growth, we are currently relocating our infrastructure to the United States of America to sustain smooth operation and provide fast, accessible and reliable service.
The entire relocation process has been thoroughly planned and we have done our best to ensure the service remains online whilst the transfer takes place.
There is a tiny chance that the website may be unreachable for a matter of hours if unforseen circumstances occur.
If this is the case, please check back within a day or two.
New registrations will not be accepted during the relocation and will be available within 2 days.

readbud will be launching a considerably large extension of the service in late June. Although we do not have a set launch date and cannot go into further details at present, it is safe to say that we will be introducing a new way to earn money for contributions to the service. Furthermore we will also include highly valuable rewards such as iPhones and Xbox 360s for grabs in competitions! This decision is a direct result of the plentiful suggestions and requests by you, our valued members.
The current system based on the method "read, rate and earn" will remain as is and will not be affected in any negative manner by the expansion. In fact, the 2 systems will complement each other, ensuring the best service we can possibly offer!
We have been hard at work with the conceptualization of the extension in the past 2 weeks, and are now well under way with development. More information to come, so stay tuned!

readbud is not officially present on any of the social networks at the moment. There are a number of unofficial groups on various social networks such as Facebook and Twitter who claim that they are the official readbud group acting on behalf of the readbud service and staff.
Although these groups are in fact unofficial, you may choose to join them and follow their activity, however do not take into consideration any controversial information they may be sharing as it most likely is not endorsed by readbud.
Promoting readbud can be done through social networks and we have nothing against such activity, however please bear in mind not to spread false information and rumours.

It has been brought to our attention that some registrants have not received the activation emails in due time.
Here are some tips if you are having issues with the activation email...
For free email account service users such as GMail, Yahoo Mail or Hotmail:
Please ensure to provide the correct email address when providing your registration details. Double check your input in the email address field. We get a lot of bouncebacks stating the email address accounts provided do not exist - this being error on registrant's behalf.
For users who have email accounts through their ISPs (Internet Service Providers) or hosted by other web servers:
- Ensure you have added readbud.com to your white or safe email server list.
- Check your SPAM or JUNK folder
- If both steps above have been made, it is possible that the email server that hosts your email account does not allow incoming mail from servers unknown to them. If this is the case, please register a GMail (Google Mail) account for free and use your new free email account to register on readbud. Ensure to type in the email address correctly.

We have completed the advertisement delivery engine specifically built to present ads served by Panthera Network across all categories and respective articles.
At present, we are only displaying these fantastic ads and equally great offers from their advertisers to US members only.
We will soon expand the reach out to more countries on the list starting with United Kingdom, followed by Canada, then Australia.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the advertisers and their target audience, we are unable to serve these ads across the globe at the moment.

We apologise for some down time without notice, however we simply couldn't delay the essential upgrade that was to take place to counter terribly slow performance experienced in the past few days.
Care was taken to ensure minimal disruptions to the service, however during certain periods, the site would be off limits, and at other times, the article delivery engine was out of service.
We have upgraded and optimized both the article delivery engine, as well as the server hardware that runs it to achieve quick page loads for all our users across the globe. It is our goal to provide a stable and accessible service at all times, hence this is why these upgrades were of utmost importance.
